For students, it’s almost a no-brainer to save as much as 40 percent off what they would pay a cellular carrier for service purchased at the retail store. In fact, in one university system, over 90 percent of 25,000 students have signed up for the service. Campus Emergency Alerts via Digital Signage Emergency alerts can also be displayed on digital signage, and campus alerts can interrupt the normally displayed content of community events and other university related notices. Campuses can even make money from outside advertising agencies, who will pay top dollar to have access to the student demographic.
