Cellular Kiosks - Wireless Kiosks

Kiosks typically deploy some type of touch screen interface, meaning that the ability to send data back from the kiosk is as important as the ability to receive data. With average upload speeds of EVDO networks in the 350-500 Kilobits/second range, and peak uploads up to 1.8 Megabits/second, you can rest assured that data from the user interface will be back to marketing in seconds.

Changing content is a snap as well, with download speeds on cellular EVDO Rev. A networks in the 600 Kilobits/second to 1.4 Megabits/second, and peak downloads of 3.1 Megabits/second. Some of the cellular routers we carry are capable of receiving a firmware upgrade to 4G, making streaming video a possibility as carriers upgrade their networks to WiMax or other 4G technologies. Content can be forwarded from the router to multiple kiosks in a store or other environment over Wi-Fi .
