The Cradlepoint CTR-350 creates a Secure Wi-Fi Hotspot from broadband-enabled cellular phones and modems. Enjoy the simplicity and convenience of Wi-Fi without having to search around for a hotspot and without risking a non-secure connection. Built-in firewall and secure chat allows you or your group to work securely while protecting your bandwidth. WEP and WPA encryption meet strict IT standards for Wi-Fi security. Easy-to-set-up sharing for friends and colleagues.

Connect a data-ready cellular phone into the USB host port, and the Cradlepoint CTR350 automatically establishes a connection to your cellular provider's data network. It works similar to the way a home router manages a DSL or Cable modem—connect and forget. Once you plug in a Cellular USB modem or a Handset equipped with a phone-as-modem tethered data plan, you can associate your PC with the Cradlepoint CTR350 just like in a Café Hotspot and you're on the Internet. You can optionally use the RJ-45 Ethernet port with a wired LAN to give you easy shared wireless access when available.
